Privacy

Here is the personal data processed when you visit logphase.ai or use the logPhase desktop app.

Who is responsible

logPhase UG (haftungsbeschränkt)
Anna-Seghers-Straße 150, 12489 Berlin, Germany
Managing director: Naveen Negi
E-mail: contact@logphase.ai

This website

  • It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and runs no analytics scripts or tracking.
  • It makes no requests to third parties. Fonts, scripts, images and videos are served from this site itself; no Google Fonts and no CDN.
  • The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Pages). When you open a page, Cloudflare's servers process technical data your browser sends with every request (IP address, date and time, the page requested, referrer and browser type) to deliver the page and protect the service against misuse, and keep it in their server logs. This is the only processing on this site. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in delivering the website and protecting it against misuse.

Downloads

The Download button sends you to our /download address, which hands the file over from GitHub's release servers. GitHub, Inc. processes that request under its own privacy statement. Nothing is sent to GitHub before you click.

To know how often logPhase is downloaded, the /download address adds one to a daily count, kept separately by date, build (Apple Silicon or Intel), country, the site that linked to it (or the link's utm_source) and whether the request looks automated. It does not store your IP address or anything that identifies you or your device, and sets no cookie. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in knowing how many people download the app and where they found it.

Contact form

When you send the contact form, your name, e-mail address and message are e-mailed to us and you get a confirmation e-mail. Both are sent through Mailgun Technologies, Inc. (USA), which acts as our processor. We use what you send only to answer you and delete it when the conversation is over, unless the law requires us to keep it. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry.

To keep spam out, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, loaded only on the contact page. It checks technical data from your browser (such as IP address and browser type) to tell people from bots, and sets no cookies for tracking. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in protecting the form against misuse.

Buying a subscription

Subscriptions are sold by Polar Software, Inc. (polar.sh), which acts as the merchant of record and takes payment through Stripe. When you subscribe, Polar processes your email address, billing country and payment details to run the subscription, send your licence key, invoices and reminders, and handle tax. This happens on Polar's checkout page under Polar's own privacy policy, and only after you click through to it. The legal basis is the contract you enter (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). You can see your subscription, invoices and licence key, or cancel, in Polar's customer portal.

The desktop app

  • Your code is analysed locally, on your Mac. C# analysis downloads Microsoft's .NET SDK from Microsoft on first use, plus any other SDK version a repository targets.
  • Reviews run in your own Claude Code, signed in with your own Claude account. Claude Code handles the code it reads under Anthropic's terms and privacy policy.
  • The app talks to the GitHub API to list the repositories and pull requests you choose and to show GitHub avatars. If you sign in for private repositories, the token is stored in your macOS keychain.
  • Clone and fetch go to whichever git remote the repository uses.
  • The app checks for updates against GitHub Releases.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Write to us at the address above. You can also complain to a supervisory authority, for example the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit.
